Dana Moves To 4-Day Schedule April 26th

Dana Moves to 4-Day Schedule April 26th
Posted on 04/22/2021

Beginning Monday, April 26th, Dana Middle will move to a “4 Day” schedule where all students who have selected the onsite learning model will attend Monday through Thursday. Students will continue to follow the same bell schedule. Friday will continue to follow the current online check-in model. All health and safety protocols currently in place will continue. Please review these protocols and remind your students to follow them. Please remember to use ClearPass or the paper-based symptom check-list daily. Clearly print your child’s first and last name on the checklist.

Families who selected the online learning model will continue with this method. Families who did not respond to the survey have been assigned to the online learning model. Families wishing to change their mind must contact their child’s counselor first to determine if space is available. No further action is required by parents at this time.

Two classrooms have been physically moved to accommodate the increased class size. A limited number of students will be moved to an overflow classroom for one or more periods to allow us to meet existing health and safety protocols. These students will participate synchronously with their classroom via zoom and be rotated throughout the week to provide all children with opportunities to be physically present with their teacher.

Families who do not wish to continue with onsite learning can contact their child’s counselor and request to be assigned to the online model.

Additional information regarding the movement to a 4 Day schedule on Monday, April 26th will be shared with parents in an eblast scheduled to be distributed this weekend. We are excited to welcome our students back to four days of onsite instruction. Thank you for your patience as we navigate through this transition.
