Where Have We Been?

October 2020

  • Remove non-academic factors from academic grades
  • Provide opportunities for retakes and revisions
  • Turning in late work may impact a child’s citizenship grade

 There are limits to what a child can revise and the frequency in which they can do this.

September 2021

  • Individual departments create crosswalk charts to help parents transition between A,B,C,D,F grades to 4,3,2,1 (Exceeds, Meets, Approaching, Not Meeting)
  • Individual teachers and departments experiment with configuring their gradebooks to address movement away from percentages and towards standards completion.
