Student Email Accounts
All students at Dana have access to a limited student email account for use with online learning. Students can use this account to contact their teacher with questions. Teachers can use this account to share information related to classwork and projects.
The limited email account is part of the suite of Google Apps students currently use. Student addresses use the following format:
[email protected] - replace "xxxxxx" with the student ID number. Students use their ID number to login to their school computer, Google Classroom and the PowerSchool Student Portal.
Q: Can my student send emails to me or other non-students?
A: No. Students can only send emails to students and staff members at Dana Middle School.
Q: Can I email my student?
A: No. Student accounts are locked down. Students cannot receive emails from email accounts outside of Dana Middle School.
Q: Can I view my child's email account?
A: Yes. Simply login to your child's Google account using their ID and password. Your child knows their ID and password because they use it every day when they participate in online learning. Please contact Site Tech Pedro at [email protected] if your child will not provide you with their ID and password and we will provide assistance.
