Curriculum Night Sept. 22nd Event Schedule
Curriculum Night is scheduled for Wednesday, September 22nd, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. This online synchronous event provides parents with an opportunity to participate in live zoom meetings with the Dana Administration and classroom teachers. IMPORTANT: This event was originally scheduled for Thursday, September 16th, but was changed to Wednesday, September 22nd, to avoid a calendar conflict with Yom Kippur. We apologize for any confusion the date change may have caused.

School Picture Day - Sept. 22nd

Gerardy Photography will take student pictures on Wednesday, September 22nd, in the center courtyard. Students will have their picture taken during Language Arts class. Please click this link to view the informational flyer sent home with students during English class.

ASB Spirit Day Sept. 24 - Twins Day

Dana is holding their first ASB Spirit Day on Friday, September 24th. Show your school spirit by dressing up! Twins Day is a school day when kids pair off with a friend and dress alike. Plan to wear the same shirt and pants as your friend. The more friends in your group the better! Activities planned for lunch!

ASB is planning on selling Dippin Dots at the ASB store on Wednesdays. The store should be open for business at lunch on or before the first week in October.

Wear Green on Fridays!
Friday, September 17th, will be our first Dana Spirit Day. Wear a green shirt (our school color), or Dana Gear and receive a raffle ticket for a free Kona Ice. See Mr. Irwin and Mrs. Perkins at lunch for details! NOTE: ALL Fridays are Dana Spirit Days!

Parent Volunteers Wanted
Interested in experiencing our school culture first-hand? Volunteer to assist with lunch supervision! Follow this link to view our lunch schedule. We are looking for compassionate parents who are willing to interact with our children. Volunteers will receive training on conflict resolution, communication, and other other concepts. Volunteers must commit to a regular schedule but we are flexible regarding days worked during the week.

Join The EVOLVE Dance Group
We are excited to have Dance To EvOLvE at Dana Middle where you get to ‘Dance! Design! Direct!‘. Do it all in this unique student-directed class that goes beyond traditional dance classes.  The EvOLvE class combines dance instruction with creative freedom allowing the dancers to be the decision makers by exploring choreography, music selection, show management, and art and costume design for their end-of-session performance.  Dancers love this fun class because it allows peer interaction and truly lets their imagination shine, and parents love this positive and high-energy class because it builds confidence, teamwork and communication skills while also developing dance skills.  Beginner to advanced as there is a lot of small group work. Great for Boys and Girls.

  • Dress Code: Flexible clothing. No jeans. Tennis shoes, dance shoes, or barefoot.
  • Minimum Enrollment 12, Maximum Enrollment 25 (after 25 we will start a wait-list to ensure we can bring in a teacher's assistant)
  • Refund Policy: No refunds unless class is canceled due to low enrollment.
  • Registration: Open

Time:  Thursdays 12:25 – 2:25pm

Price:  3 payments of $104, or pay in full with 10% discount at $281. (Installments charged in TDB)

Friends of Dana & Correia Middle Schools Meeting October 12th
Friends of Dana & Correia Middle Schools holds monthly meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:00pm.  The next meeting is on October 12, 2021 and will be held at the Correia library.  If you are unable to attend, there will be a ZOOM link posted in the FODaC Smore newsletter.  If you are not receiving the newsletter but would like to, please email [email protected] and request to be added to the email list
