Dear Dana Middle School Community,

This week, I wanted to express my deepest gratitude for the incredibly warm welcome I have received upon joining Dana Middle School. From the moment I stepped foot on campus, I have been overwhelmed by the kindness, enthusiasm, and sense of community that pervades every corner of this institution.

First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the students of Dana Middle School. Your bright smiles, eager questions, and positive energy have truly made me feel at home here. I am inspired by your passion for learning and your commitment to excellence, and I am eager to work alongside each and every one of you to ensure that Dana Middle School continues to be a place where every student can thrive and succeed.

I would also like to thank the parents and guardians of our students for your unwavering support and encouragement. Your involvement in your child's education is invaluable, and I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me and in our dedicated faculty and staff.

To the faculty and staff of Dana Middle School, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and warm hospitality. Your commitment to our students' success is truly commendable, and I am honored to be part of such a talented and passionate team.

As we go into this spring break, I am filled with optimism and enthusiasm for the future. Together, I am confident that we will continue to uphold the values of excellence, integrity, and inclusivity that define our school community.

Once again, thank you all for the warm welcome. I am truly humbled and honored to serve as your Principal.

NEW! Dana MS Lunch Services for SY 24/25: Parents/Guardians

The school administration of Dana MS seeks your input regarding our school lunch.

As part of the Principal Council, students presented the school administration with the idea to transition the school from two lunches to one. The student perspective was that this would allow them to have more opportunities to engage with their friends, and would allow them to have opportunities to gather for clubs and other more organized sports.

Past practice of the school was to have two lunches in order to serve the high number of students at the site. Given the projected enrollment below 650 students for next school year, the school administration is looking into transitioning the school lunch service to one lunch.

The food services department of the district will be testing out a new lunch menu in the month of May, which will allow for faster food delivery service, as well as more options for students to choose from. This transition in food service delivery will allow us to serve more students in a faster manner. Additionally, we are looking into opening a second courtyard for eating food, in order to allow more students to have space to eat.

Please provide your input on this change in the form below.
