Support Our ASB Food Drive

Hello, Dana Families, a quick friendly reminder that the food drive is starting December 6 through the 10th. Dana is participating in the San Diego Food Bank Food Drive. We are collecting food for people in need. Please only bring canned foods and non-perishable items. Your first period teacher will be collecting the food that you bring. Whichever period has the most food will win an ice cream party woo hoo! Go Mariners! Have a great rest of your day.

Math: Making Sense of Word Problems - Dec. 6th

The SDUSD Math Department will present a math workshop for grades Pre K-5th to help families learn about a specific method their students are using to solve math word problems. This method focuses on making sense of a situation or problem BEFORE jumping in to solve it. We encourage you to bring your children during this Zoom workshop designed for families.

FODaC Really Needs Your Support!

"Giving Tuesday" is rapidly approaching and we wanted to try and rally more support for Friends of Dana and Correia (FODaC) Association.  Our goal is to raise $30,000 this year and so far we are woefully short of that with only three donations totalling $700. The parents of Dana and Correia can do better than that! Your support provides grants for teachers, pays for after school Homework Club for students, and supports ASB activities. Anything you can do to help support our schools is appreciated.  We do not have a parent volunteer to run this campaign so our President  been doing what she can with very limited time and resources... We can use the help obviously :-) Thank You!
